Join us in either the 5-Day "Framework" or both "Framework" and "Foundations" training for a combined 9-Day retreat in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. The 5-Day "Framework" provides an immersion into eight-week MBSR program. Then, it is followed by "Foundations", a 4-day training for those who are interested in learning how to teach MBSR.
These experiential mindfulness programs offer tools for taking a proactive role in your health and well-being, and learning new skills for living with more resilience and inner strength. Both programs are hosted by our Centre For Mindfulness Canada, which is a recognized Global Mindfulness Collaborate (GMC) with the Mindfulness Center at Brown University. I will be co-facilitating with the world renowned mindfulness Teacher and Trainer Florence Meleo-Meyer.
For decades, Florence has taught mindfulness and meditation to clinical populations, and to professionals in the fields of medicine, psychology, education, and business. She was the director of Oasis Institute at the University of Massachusetts Medical School for Professional Education and Training. She is now a Global Ambassador to MBSR Affiliates Worldwide through the Mindfulness Center at Brown University. She is a licensed family therapist and holds degrees in education and psychology.
