You will get the opportunity to experience mindfulness and be introduced to its use to deal with pain, illness, and the demands of daily life.
You will also be able to ask questions and explore whether the eight-week MBSR program is right for you.

Saturday mornings, September 23 to November 18, 2017, in North Vancouver

Tuesday evenings, October 24 to December 12th, 2017, in North Vancouver

The MBSR program was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Since its inception in 1979, MBSR has been well researched, indicating various benefits of training people to more effectively deal with stress, pain, illness and the pressures of everyday life.
Are you interested in experiencing the power of mindfulness meditation? Join us in this experiential and highly respected program in the medical community, an excellent complement to traditional and psychological treatments.
Registration for the Fall programs is now open. Please note: programs tend to fill up (secure a spot by registering for it). 2018 programs will be posted shortly.
Laughter Yoga events
Laughter yoga is a global phenomenon that was developed by a Physician in India, Dr. Madan Kataria, and it is practiced in over 100 countries. It is a group exercise where anyone can laugh for no reason, and is done through exercises that stimulate laughter in a group with eye contact and playfulness.
Here are some of the upcoming laughter events:
- Free monthly Laughter Yoga class in North Vancouver: Fourth Monday of every month (6:00 pm to 6:50 pm). To register click here.
- Free Laughter Yoga and Live Music event in Vancouver: Saturday, October 21st, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. To register click here.
- Become a Laughter Yoga Leader by completing the Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training. Join us November 25-26, at the Listel Hotel (1300 Robson Street, Vancouver). To register click here.
